Summit Physical Therapy, Inc. is a private, outpatient orthopedic clinic opened in June of 2018 with amazing success, boasting an 9-therapist team of dynamic clinicians including DPT therapists, PTA, LMT.

Appointments are scheduled every 45 minutes to allow one-on-one clinical time with therapist and patient.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide high quality care in an outpatient orthopedic setting

  • Evaluate, design plans of care, and carry out treatment for patients of all age ranges

  • Establish appropriate plans of care to meet functional and measurable goals relevant to the patient’s individual needs, as mutually decided upon by therapist and client

  • Professionally and appropriately manage Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapist Technicians, as well as work cohesively with the therapist team

  • Provide patient, family, and staff education to provide appropriate care to the client and achieve mutually agreed upon physical therapy goals

Requirements 

​

  • Must be a licensed Physical Therapist from an accredited university, and maintain an active AK state license before beginning employment

  • Be a kind, compassionate, and professional employee who can work and communicate effectively with all staff members, therapists and patients.

  • Be able to work a full-time, 40 hour/week job
